Mobile Mechanic Service

Same-day mobile emergency repair that comes to you, anywhere in the Spokane area.

Some jobs do not need a shop, and some vehicles cannot get to one. Our mobile service brings a technician and tools to you — at home, at your workplace, or at the roadside — across the greater Spokane area.

This is a genuinely useful option in two situations: when the vehicle is not safe or not able to be driven, and when getting to a shop costs you more in lost time than the repair itself.

What we can do on site

Diagnostics. We bring scan tools, so a check engine light, a no-start or a driveability complaint can be properly diagnosed where the vehicle sits. That matters even when the repair eventually needs the shop, because you find out what is actually wrong before paying to tow it somewhere.

Batteries, starting and charging. Battery testing and replacement, alternator and starter testing, and the corroded grounds and cable ends that cause a large share of no-starts. This is the single most common mobile call, especially through winter.

Brakes. Pad and rotor replacement is often practical on site given a level, safe surface.

Fluids and routine service. Oil and filter changes, other fluid service, filters, belts, hoses and wipers.

Diesel and commercial. Mobile diesel service for equipment that cannot easily be brought in, including filters, batteries, diagnostics and a range of repairs.

Pre-purchase inspections. Where you are looking at a used vehicle at a private seller's address.

What genuinely needs the shop

We would rather tell you this up front than arrive and charge you for the trip. Internal engine and transmission work, anything needing a lift for safe access, tire mounting and balancing, alignment, air conditioning evacuation and recharge, and any job needing a press or heavy equipment all need to come to East Trent. Some jobs are also weather-dependent — there is work we will not do properly lying on ice.

Fleet and commercial on-site service

For businesses running vehicles, on-site service means the equipment stays where it works. We can carry out scheduled maintenance across a yard in one visit rather than sending vehicles out one at a time and losing a driver with each one. For fleets that run early or late, that scheduling flexibility is often worth more than the labour saving.

What can you actually do at my house?

Call with the specifics and we will quote it before we come out. For a lot of situations it works out cheaper overall once you account for a tow, or for the working hours lost getting a vehicle to a shop and back.
